| Well, I guess this is where I talk about myself and the history of my art style? I began drawing as long as I can remember (which is pretty decently long... maybe two years of age?). I started drawing figures as soon as I possibly could, drawing crude figures of Sonic the Hedgehog in preschool during finger painting class. Thats when I knew I had a talent. My Sonic craze eventually led me to my Manga craze (which I still have and probably will never get rid of). I tried drawing people in a sort of cartoonish style in the 3rd grade. I bought this book from the book fair that further refined my style into something that can be identified as manga. Still looked like crap, but I was only in 6th grade, what could I do? My mom actually was the one who helped me achieve, what I call, my "Manga Nirvana". I eventually developed my own style and right now I might be in collaboration with one of my cousins in Korea to getting my very first manga published. Korea is not that far from Japan, yay! ...I'm Korean by the way, not Japanese. The drawings you see in the "Nostalgia" section of my gallery is what I call my "crap manga". It's probably nowhere close to where I am now, most of those drawings were done 2 years ago. Hahaha, I look back at my old sketch books and laugh how crappily I drew back then. |
It's Shaneequa.
